Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to members of our community. Each month, the Christians here at Sunset provide the place and the manpower to extend this service to our community.

Sunset has adopted the Mark Twain and Portland Elementary Schools in Springfield for help throughout the school year. The Christians here at Sunset provide bookpacks and school supplies for the needy students of our community.



Health Issues and Cancer Support Group Each month a group meets here at the building to discuss various health issues and to lend support to those who are struggling. Guest speakers provide information and insight into services available. All in the community are welcome whether you have health issues or are simply interested in the topic of the month. for information, time & date Caring and Sharing Group Every Tuesday, the Caring and Sharing Group meets here at the church building to discuss emotional health issues and for support. Annual Wellness Fair Sunset's Annual Wellness Fair is in March each year. There are booths with information on Diabetes, Stroke Prevention, Hearing Health, Mental Health and Safety along with Lifeline Screenings and One Missing Link with child Digital Identification Disks for parents. view March 2010's Brochure Packages of Love are presented to new Mom's and Babes in need at both St. Johns and Cox hospitals. Twice a year, Sunset and Brookline churches of Christ assemble baby items such as clothes, blankets, and supplies into gift packages which are given to those in need.
